MILWAUKEE — The annual Milwaukee Pride Parade will return June 4 and will feature more than 150 units, making it the largest parade in the organization’s history.

The parade will step off at 2 p.m. and move north on South 2nd Street in the Walker’s Point neighborhood. It will end at Seeboth Street.

The theme of the 2023 parade is “The Future is Ours,” with units showing optimism for progress amid adversity, as well as for a brighter future for the city’s LGBTQ+ community.

“It’s a testament to the love and acceptance abundant in our community that this will be our biggest parade yet,” Milwaukee Pride Parade board member Wyatt Tinder said in a statement. “We welcome everyone, no matter their gender or sexuality, to join us for this joyous, inclusive celebration.”

Additionally, several local drag entertainers will serve as the Grand Marshals.

The Milwaukee Pride Parade organization was founded in 2005.
