GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Green Bay Packers honored Pro Football Hall of Famer and Spectrum News 1 Roundtable panelist LeRoy Butler at a halftime ceremony Thursday night against the Titans at Lambeau Field.

Butler also received his Hall of Fame ring and had his name added to the facade at Lambeau Field.

During his speech, Butler thanked his late mother and said he loves the Packers fans and hopes to see the fans and owners names on the facade someday. His name is displayed next to his friend, and the great Packers cornerback, Charles Woodson's name.

On his way off the field after the halftime ceremony, Butler did one more "Lambeau Leap" for fans in the south end zone (with the help of a step stool).

“That made that celebration amazing, because it’s with the fans," said Butler. "To have one more opportunity to do it, I think it’s epic, and almost like a fairytale ending to a career. To have your name up, and to do one last leap in your gold jacket, that’s amazing.”

Butler said after the ceremony how special it was to spend his entire 12-year pro career in Green Bay and said that tonight's celebration was one of his favorite moments at Lambeau Field.

He's only the 28th player in Packers history to have his name displayed.

Butler was inducted in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio in August. There are 362 members in the Pro Football Hall of Fame out of the nearly 30,000 pro football players.
