WISCONSIN — A line of storms tore through Wisconsin on last week Wednesday, spinning up at least seven tornadoes and leaving damage across the southeastern part of the state.

The National Weather Service began surveys of affected areas last Thursday. They expected to find a series of relatively weak, short-lived tornado tracks. That's exactly what they found.

NWS Milwaukee confirmed at least seven EF-0 tornadoes touched down in Wisconsin as of Monday. One of those was in West Allis at around 12:19 p.m., with peak winds around 75mph. It lasted about 10 minutes and traveled about 3 miles.

Three others touched down in Burlington, Lake Geneva and Nashotah. The remaining three touched down in the Jefferson County regions of Sullivan, Watertown and Johnson Creek.
