WISCONSIN — Wisconsinites are traveling overseas for the Green Bay Packers’ first international regular season game in London this Sunday.

Packers fans in the U.K. and Ireland are excited to welcome fans and make them feel right at home for the game.

“We very rarely have to buy a beer in Wisconsin when we travel for games and we want to do the same for fans in London,” explained Stephen O’Brien, co-founder of U.K. and Irish Packers.

The group is hosting watch parties for fans as the Packers take on the New York Giants at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. One will be for adults and the other will be geared toward families. They will also serve fans some cheese curds and even an old fashioneds.

O’Brien is even known by the Packers' front office.

“When Mark Murphy mentioned the London games, he name dropped me personally for being a fan,” O’Brien said. “That is something I will remember for the rest of my life.”
