STEVENS POINT, Wis.— Many Packers fans throughout Wisconsin would likely claim they are the team's biggest fan. However, only a few are up for the official title, as nominees for the Packers Fan Hall of Fame.

One of the ten finalists is Pat Suplicki, a lifelong cheesehead who has proudly represented the Packers throughout the years.

"My favorite Packer of all time was Bart Starr," says Suplicki as he points to an autographed poster of Bart Starr hanging on his wall. "When we were little kids around the block, that's who you wanted your quarterback to be: Bart Starr."

His home in Stevens Point features a basement-turned-man cave. His collection started at the young age of three. The detailed woodwork, built-in bar, and painted Packers' green walls are all in honor of his late father.

“Growing up with him, he instilled values in me on the things [like] working hard and all that kind of stuff," says Suplicki. "If Packers won, it was a great day, Packers lost, you didn’t want to be around him.”

His man cave is home to hundreds, if not thousands of collectibles. You'll spot bobbleheads and several framed magazines that show love for the Packers.

"This room, the way I wanted it, just took seven years to where it is right now, times seven days a week, damn I couldn’t even fathom it,” says Suplicki.

But aside from the unique figurines and history displayed across the walls, the most prized possessions go beyond the game even beyond bragging rights— it comes down to memories.

"That was the crew," says Suplicki with a shaky voice while pointing to a framed picture of his closest friends. "We made the NFC championships games together, and one of them is gone, got killed in a car wreck, so I guess all those games I attended with these guys, are special, they are really special.”

Holding on to pictures of those very moments makes his nomination a lot more special.

Even more so than being named the ultimate fan, Suplicki is ready to watch the Green and Gold end the season with a victory in Tampa.
