WISCONSIN (SPECTRUM NEWS) -- College campuses across Wisconsin are changing things up for students as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Several announced their plans Wednesday.

UW-Milwaukee

  • Spring Break next week
  • Extended one week to March 29th
  • Online classes after that

UW-Madison

  • Spring break next week
  • No face-to-face instruction starting March 23rd
  • Continues through April 10th at earliest
  • Update in early April

UW-La Crosse

  • Spring break next week
  • Extended one week to March 29th
  • Continues through April 10th at earliest
  • Update in early April

UW-Green Bay

  • Spring break next week
  • No face to face instruction starting March 23rd
  • Updates for subsequent weeks every Wednesday

UW-Stout

  • Spring break next week
  • No face to face instruction starting March 23rd
  • Continues through April 5th at earliest
  • Update March 30th

ST. NORBERT

  • Spring break next week
  • Alternative delivery modes for course instruction March 23 - April 13
  • Students will be asked to be home during this period

UW-Oshkosh

  • Spring break Sunday, March 24–Sunday, March 31
  • All campus-based classes canceled for the week of March 16
  • Alternative delivery methods start Monday, March 30
  • All online classes currently in session are not impacted 

Marquette University

  • Spring break next week
  • In-person classes are suspended March 16 through March 20
  • Students who live in on-campus residence halls and university-owned apartments are directed not to return to campus before April 10
  • The university is suspending all on-campus university-sponsored events with more than 50 attendees

Viterbo University

  • Traditional face to face classes suspended March 16–20
  • Online classes will be conducted from Monday, March 23 through April 8
  • International travel, including study abroad trips, is suspended until May 31
  • Athletic events, competitions and practices suspended through April 8. The remainder of the season will be evaluated at a later date.
  • All Fine Arts Center events are canceled from March 16–April 8
  • Will re-evaluate the situation in early April

Carthage College plans to announce more information on Thursday.
