Milwaukee's 11th District Alderman Peter Burgelis's favorite thing about being an elected official is helping people. The biggest lesson he has learned during his time in office is the importance of prioritizing what's best for his constituents.

Burgelis would say that his top priority for the rest of his term is improving his district's infrastructure. In three words, he would describe his district as "safe, convenient, and affordable."

Burgelis's first job was working as a paperboy. If he could have lunch with any elected official, he would choose John McCain or Russ Feingold.
