Wisconsin's 11th District State Representative Dora Drake says the best part of her job is being "the voice" for her community in the state assembly. She is proud of the revitalization efforts of Havenwoods State Park.
During the pandemic, Drake's office worked on several unemployment cases to make sure her constituents could get the support they needed to make ends meet. She also saw over twenty bills signed into law in her first two years in office; she considers these her greatest legislative accomplishments.
In three words, Drake describes her district as "friendly, tenacious, and peaceful." If she could have lunch with any elected official, she would choose Nelson Mandela.
