Wisconsin's State Senator LaTonya Johnson is proud of the 6th District's vibrant sports and entertainment industries- she considers her district the best of what Milwaukee has to offer.

In her Know Your Electeds interview, Johnson said her priority for the upcoming year is promoting racial equity. She also wants to improve access to good education to provide a brighter future to underprivileged students. 

As a child care provider, Johnson was inspired to run for office by the kids at her daycare and their hard-working parents. If she could have lunch with any elected official, it would be Stacey Abrams.
