WISCONSIN (SPECTRUM NEWS) -- As fun as it was to see the Packers schedule revealed Thursday night, like everything else in our world these days, it's all tentative.

Nobody knows for sure what things will look like this fall because of the pandemic. So the usual rush for Green Bay hotels may be tempered. Will the season start on time?
Will there be fans in the stands? Don't know.

A few things that stand out. The marquee Aaron Rodgers-Tom Brady matchup comes October 18th when the Packers travel to Florida to take on the Buccaneers.
Amazingly, they've only met twice, splitting the two meetings when Brady played for New England. Rodgers missed the 2010 game against the Patriots with a concussion.

The scheduled NFC Championship Game rematch in Santa Clara against the 49ers comes on a Thursday night (November 5th). That long road trip out west on a short week is usually a recipe for disaster.

Overall, the schedule is challenging, but not impossible. There's only one set of back-to-back road games and four of the last six games are at home.

The Packers remain a popular prime time attraction. Knowing the flex schedule could change things, they're currently scheduled for five prime time games. Three on a Sunday night and one each on Monday and Thursday nights.

Don't get me wrong. There's nothing I would love more than to drive into Lambeau Field this season and have the parking lots filled with the sights, sounds and smells of tailgate parties.

I just know that this season could look very different. We all need to be flexible as this plays out.
