MILWAUKEE — As coronavirus numbers continue to make a significant impact across Wisconsin, hospitalizations are also on the rise.

State health officials are reporting nearly 91% of ICU beds across Wisconsin are in use. As of Nov. 10, 90.6% of ICU beds are in use and 88.9% of hospital beds are in use.

Additionally, the seven-day moving average of COVID-19 patients in the ICU is 386 patients. ICU patients made up 20.2% of hospitalized COVID patients. Overall, the 7-day moving average of COVID patients hospitalized is at 1,864 patients.

The state continues to set coronavirus records; as of Wednesday, a record-breaking 7,989 new cases were reported and 283 more people were hospitalized. More than 15,000 people have been hospitalized since the pandemic began.
