GREEN BAY, Wis. (Spectrum News) -- It's a nice view from the rooftop of Titletown Tech where Peter Romenesko works.  In the shadow of Lambeau Field inside the growing Titletown Disrict, Romenesko and his colleagues are looking to help Wisconsin businesses and entrepreneurs thrive.

“The idea behind Titletown Tech started five or six years ago with the Packers organization looking to find a way to commercially help the community grow, help new concepts grow and have young professionals be able to start ideas and plant seeds here,” said Romenesko.

A year and a half ago, Microsoft jumped on board to partner with the Packers. Titletown Tech offers many resources to those hoping to start or grow a business. Neil Mix is quite a resource. He was an original engineer for Pandora.

“One of the goals of what we’re doing is to really help grow technology and startups in Wisconsin," said Mix.

Another Titletown Partner, Jill Enos joined the group after working with a successful software startup. She thinks Wisconsin is an untapped resource for tech.

"In Northeast Wisconsin there is a strong entrepreneurial culture but it hasn’t always been surfaced or supported well I’ve really enjoyed the opportunity to help bring some of those entrepreneurs out but also to keep them here,” Enos said.

Titletown Tech is involved in cutting edge ideas. They could only give us general outlines of some of their exciting endeavors.

“A early stage artificial intelligence company that’s evaluating sports and athlete’s performance on the courts to help the recruiting process for colleges,” said Mix

“A really interesting application with virtual reality to change the way education functions,” said Enos.

If you happen to have that next million dollar idea, Titletown Tech is willing to listen.

“Some of these folks had ideas for 3 or 4 years and they just didn’t have the outlet and now we’re exploring those with them. And if the idea is solid and we want to go do it together, we’ll make that investment and help them take those first steps,” explained Peter Romenesko.

“Call us. Talk us through it and see if we can help you get there. And if it’s not the right fit for here, we can help find a place where it is a good fit,” said Enos.
