AUSTIN, Texas -- Country music legend and Austin staple Willie Nelson Wednesday night reported his latest tour has been canceled due to a medical issue.

Nelson attributed the cancellation to a breathing problem that will need the attention of a doctor.

Nelson, 86, performed Wednesday night in Toledo, Ohio, and his tour was slated for 30 additional shows, including one Friday night at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Nelson has been dealing with health issues over the past few years, canceling shows in 2017 and 2018.
