The Spectrum News 1 Scholar Athlete Program recognizes exceptional high school student athletes with academic scholarship awards of $1,000 each for use towards college expenses. Nominees must be high school seniors on at least one varsity team with plans to attend a university in the 2020-21 school year in order to be considered.
