GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Green Bay Packers face the Eagles Sunday in Philadelphia in the wild-card round of the playoffs.

The Eagles went 14-3 in the regular season. It’s just the second time ever the Packers have faced a 14-win team in the playoffs. The Packers lost to the 2001 Rams in St. Louis.

Here are three things to watch in Sunday’s playoff game.

Full circle

These teams started this season playing each other in Brazil. The Eagles won that game, 34-29 on Sept. 6.

In his first game playing for Philadelphia, Saquon Barkley rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns. Barkley rushed for over 2,000 yards during the regular season and was a teammate of Packers safety Xavier McKinney with the New York Giants.

Wild card success

The Packers have won their last three wild-card round road games. When they won last year in Dallas, they were the only wild card team to post a victory. The Packers also won after the 2015 season in Washington and after the 2010 season in Philadelphia. That started a run to a Packers victory in Super Bowl 45.

Playoff history with Eagles

This is the fourth time the Packers have played the Eagles in the playoffs. All of the games have been in Philadelphia. The Eagles handed Vince Lombardi his only postseason loss in the 1960 NFL Championship and Philadelphia won in overtime after the 2003 season in the infamous “4th and 26” game.

Sunday will be a homecoming for Packers kicker Brandon McManus. He was born in Philadelphia and played college football at Temple.
