WISCONSIN — COVID-19 cases are skyrocketing across Wisconsin; Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported 18,216 new COVID-19 cases on Monday alone. 

Between high numbers and long COVID-19 testing lines, many Wisconsinsites are turning to at-home tests, which have been available free of charge both state and nationwide

Those who test positive for coronavirus using one of these at-home tests are encouraged to report their case to their local health department, so health leaders have accurate numbers and data. Multiple Wisconsin health departments have reported skewed data, as they do not have at-home testing records, noting caseloads are probably higher than they know.
