All Milwaukee Public Schools will be open for in-person learning, five days a week. However, virtual options are being offered. While in school buildings and buses, everyone will be required to mask up. However, when outside, or eating and drinking, masks may be removed.

Additionally, "high-contact areas" at MPS schools will be cleaned during the day. Classrooms and common areas will have HEPA filters. Students and staff are being asked to maintain three-feet of distance from others.

Pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinics will rotate through certain school locations.

In addition to mask requirements, everyone will be asked to maintain a minimum three-foot physical distance from others as much as possible— six-foot distances are encouraged in certain circumstances. Classrooms are equipped with cleaning kits and "high touch-point" areas will be cleaned regularly.

Virtual learning is an option for 6th - 12th graders. Schools are open for in-person, five-day school weeks.

Kenosha Unified School District is requiring masks for students and staff. This is a reversal from the original mask policy. The school board voted for a mask mandate during a virtual meeting on Thursday, August 26.

K - 12 students can select virtual or in-person learning for the 2021-22 school year. All school buildings will be open five days a week for in-person classes. Early education is completely in-person for the 2021-22 school year, with no virtual alternatives.

At all school levels, physical distancing is encouraged, and layouts are customized to each classroom, and approved by the principal. In addition, there will be supervised exit and entry strategies in place to maximize social distancing.
