RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (SPECTRUM NEWS) -  As Spectrum News 1 continues to ask questions surrounding the Foxconn development in Mount Pleasant we did get some answers from leaders in Racine County who have a personal interaction with Foxconn Executives.

Our Alyson Bruner sat down with Racine County Executive Jonathan Delagrave. In the 1-on-1 interview, Delagrave addresses several key issues for neighbors in Wisconsin including everything from how big he expects the Foxconn footprint to be in Racine County, to how leaders will make sure the water quality is at proper safety levels for those living in the area.

When talking about the expected footprint, Delgrave says, "we are looking at by the end of this year, a million and a half, or almost maybe a million 750,000 square feet, so almost 2 million square feet of vertical construction."

Foxconn's original goal was to bring 13,000 new jobs to Wisconsin.

According to Delgrave, about 5,000 new jobs were added to the Racine County economy this year and another 6,000 are expected in 2020.
