FREMONT, Ohio — Who are you going to call when your house is haunted in Ohio? Karlo Zuzic and Heather Wyatt.

They are paranormal investigators for Ohio Researchers of Banded Spirits.

“I want to learn what’s out there,” Zuzic said.

“I had an experience after my son played with a Ouija board that I guess I just wanted to know is there life after death,” Wyatt said.

The pair explained that people call them when they experience things like seeing full-body apparitions, shadows or when they hear noises in their homes.

“We do an interview with them, we just don’t go straight to their house," Zuzic said. "We kind of get an idea of what’s going on there, what kind of spirit that we may be up against and then, once we do show up, we’ll do the investigation and then we’ll do a cleansing and blessing if they want it and we’ll try to remove that spirit, and we have a pretty good success rate with that."

They use tools like a spirit box or a recorder to ask spirits questions and see if they get a response. Other tools they use have electromagnetic fields that they believe can detect ghosts or spirits. 

The pair also own an Airbnb in Fremont they said is haunted and attracts more paranormal investigators. Zuzic said he had a paranormal experience as a child, which is what led him to where he is now.

“We didn’t have anybody to reach out to back when we had issues, so the nice thing about doing this is we’re available for people to reach out to us to help them,” Zuzic said.
