OHIO — Senator Bernie Moreno, R-Ohio, endorsed Vivek Ramaswamy for Ohio governor over the weekend on social media.

Moreno announced his endorsement in a post on X, the social media site formerly known as Twitter.

"Ohio’s future has never been brighter and Vivek is the right man for the moment!" Moreno's post read.

Ramaswamy has also secured the endorsement of President Donald Trump earlier this year after he announced he would be joining the crowded race

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost announced a bid for the seat in January and Heather Hill, a Black entrepreneur from Appalachia, also is running on the crowded GOP front for Gov. Mike DeWine's position.

So far, the only Democrat who has announced a bid in the race is former state health director Dr. Amy Acton.
