COLUMBUS, Ohio — The CBUS Soul® Fest, sponsored by Columbus Recreation and Parks Department, is expanding its celebration this year.

CBUS Soul® Fest was previously a one-day celebration at Genoa Park. For 2025, the festival will be held for two days at Bicentennial Park along the Scioto Mile, located at 233 Civic Center Drive, 43215.

“We are thrilled to announce that CBUS Soul® Fest will be expanding to a two-day festival,” said Bernita A. Reese, M.S., CPRP, director of Columbus Recreation and Parks Department. “This festival is a fantastic way to celebrate Black culture in downtown Columbus at the recently renovated Bicentennial Park, allowing for a larger space to offer more room for this growing festival.”

The festival will be held Friday, Aug. 15 and Saturday, Aug. 16 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will feature live music, food and lots of soul. Admission is free.

Food vendor and musician applications are being accepted. Headliners and vendors will be announced later this spring. Visit the festival's website for updates.
