DELAWARE, Ohio – Former President Donald Trump was back in Ohio Saturday, just a week after weighing in on the state’s senate race.

Thousands gathered at the Delaware County Fairgrounds to hear Trump speak.

“We are going to take back that very, very, very beautiful White House,” said Trump.

Supporters arrived at the fairgrounds as early as 8 a.m. Prior to his appearance, Congressman Mike Carey and congressional district candidates Max Miller and Madison Gessioto Gilbert addressed the crowd.

So did U.S. Senate candidate J.D. Vance.

“I’m honored to have the endorsement of Donald J Trump for my senate candidacy in Ohio,” said Vance. “The President loves this state, the state loves this President.”

Trump endorsed Vance last week.

“I want to pick someone that’s going to win and this man’s going to win,” said Trump before bringing Vance to the stage.

Trump talked about the rise in gas prices, the war in Ukraine and the 2020 election. He also acknowledged the Florida judge who struck down the federal mask mandate this week.

“That was a great appointment,” said Trump of his appointee. “She did something very brave.”

Trump was on stage for an hour and a half.

On Saturday, Trump also publicly endorsed Secretary of State Frank LaRose and Auditor Keith Faber in their respective races.

With just over a week until the primary, he did not talk about Ohio’s Gubernatorial race.​
