VANDALIA, Ohio — The Dayton Air Show will welcome tens-of-thousands of visitors to Dayton International Airport Saturday and Sunday.

- Featres aerobatics, a kid's hangar, helicopter rides and more
- Gates open at 9 a.m. both days
The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds are the main attraction, but there are a variety of things to see and do.
Gates open at 9 a.m. both days and featured performances start at noon. On the ground will be a variety of aircraft displays, like the massive C-17 Globemaster III or KC-10 Extender or KC-135 Stratotanker.
If you prefer the smaller aircraft, there will be a U.S. Navy EA-18G, or U.S. Navy C-2A Greyhound.
There is a kids hanger and inflatables. Plenty of concessions with food and drink. And helicopter rides.
A UH-1H, or Huey, and a AH -1F Cobra attach helicopter are available for rides for a fee. The Army Aviation Heritage Foundation operates the rides and both helicopters are from the Vietnam era.
Besides the Thunderbirds, other performances include: a C-17 and C-135 demonstration, a U.S. Navy F/A-18F Super Hornet legacy flight alongside a Wildcat, U.S. Army Golden Knights, a British Sea Harrier, Shockwave Jet Truck, GEICO Skytypers, Team Oracle, and female aerobatic pilot Jacquie B.
A variety of ticket options are available on the Dayton Air Show website.
