Ohio -- While the hotly contested governor's race received much of the attention, there are four other executive branch positions whose seats have now been decided. Currently all of Ohio's executive branch positions are held by Republicans, and while there was early lead for Democrats in all of the races last night, the blue wave never reached the state's executive offices.

Republican Dave Yost won over his Democratic opponent Steve Dettelbach, a former U.S. Attorney. Yost, the current state auditor, will now be Ohio's highest ranking law enforcement official.

In the race for Secretary of State, Republican Frank Larose who has been a state senator since 2011, will now move to the executive branch with his win last night over Democrat Kathleen Clyde.

Ohio's next treasurer will be Republican Robert Sprague. Sprague wins the seat over Democrat Rob Richardson. Lastley, Republican Keith Faber will be Ohio's next state auditor, the position vacated by Yost. Faber wins over Democrat Zack Space.
