INDIO, Calif. (CNS) — The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia will headline Sunday's final day of the Coachella Music & Arts Festival, which has largely gone off without a hitch since its return following a two-year break during the coronavirus pandemic.

Other scheduled performers at the Empire Polo Club on Sunday include Long Beach's Vince Staples, Doja Cat, Fatboy Slim, Jamie xx, Belly and FINNEAS, the brother and songwriting partner of Saturday's headliner, Billie Eilish.

Last week, the tag-team headliner of The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia — who replaced Ye, the artist formally known as Kanye West after he abruptly dropped out of the festival — switched between solo and collaborative performances before ending the night with their shared single "Moth to a Flame."

On Saturday, Eilish teamed up with a special guest, Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams, to sing that group's hit "Misery Business" and later joined her brother to perform "Your Power" from her latest album, "Happier Than Ever."

Toward the end of her set, Eilish draped a Ukrainian flag over her shoulder to show support for the country as it continues to battle an invasion by Russia. She also fell on her face at one point during her set, but appeared unhurt and joked about it to the crowd.

Other Saturday performers included rappers Megan Thee Stallion and Big Sean, singer-composer Danny Elfman, Disclosure, English synthpop band Hot Chip and the hip-hop group Brockhampton, which has announced that Saturday's performance would be their last after 12 years together.

The parade of superstar guest performers during the festival's second week also included Friday headliner Harry Styles joining Lizzo to perform the disco classic "I Will Survive" and the song "What Makes You Beautiful," which was a hit for Styles' former group, One Direction.

Also creating a buzz was Compton-born rapper Kendrick Lamar, who made an unannounced appearance during his cousin Baby Keem's set to perform "Vent" and the Grammy-winning track "Family Ties."

As the festival comes to a close Sunday, temperatures will be in the upper 80s to mid-90s, nearly 10 degrees warmer than on Saturday.

The Indio Police Department said there have not been any significant arrests or traffic incidents during either of the festival's two weekends.

Police asked festivalgoers to exercise patience and follow traffic control directions while exiting the grounds Sunday night and Monday morning.
