High pressure will dominate our forecast today. After a few morning flurries, we’ll see clouds decrease and sunshine return for the afternoon. With a northwesterly wind, temperatures will only rise into the lower 50s today, a few degrees below average for the first day of spring.

The high will gradually move east overnight, allowing for winds to finally ease. Look for clear skies as temperatures drop into the mid-30s.

Warmer conditions are expected tomorrow as the high is positioned to our east, but clouds will increase ahead of our next storm system. Highs will reach the mid-60s on Friday, thanks to a southerly wind.

This system is much weaker than what we’ve seen lately, so a cold front looks to cross Friday night with just clouds. It will, however, bring cooler conditions for the start of the weekend.

Becoming mostly sunny

High: Low 50s; Winds: Northwest at 15 to 20, gusts to 38 mph
