After her grandmother died, Tonya Perkins-Stoudermire felt called to do more for foster youth in Cleveland. Bessie's Angels meets young women where they are, helping fill in basic needs along with a nurturing hand.

“Our mission is to nurture, educate, empower, and provide low-income housing,” Perkins-Stoudermire said.
