In the heart of the Hocking Hills, Jack Pine Studio invites guests to watch glassblowers at work as they turn blobs of molten glass into beautiful pieces of artwork. The team creates art for galleries across the nation, but this time of year the focus is here at home. The 3rd Annual Glass Pumpkin Festival is set for Sept. 23-25.

“We have always done the Circleville Pumpkin Show but during the pandemic, it was closed so we decided to have our own event,” said Pine. “Low and behold, it was a huge success.”

The event will feature live music, food vendors, glass-blowing demonstrations, and the glass pumpkin patch, which will include the 2022 Pumpkin of the Year. The 2022 Pumpkin of the Year is about the legends of Sleepy Hollow, decorated with old tree limbs, a dark auburn sky, and a moon that glows in the dark.

Parking is limited and advanced registration is recommended. Head to GlassPumpkinFestival.Com for the details.

Pine and his team will also sell their glass pumpkins at this year’s Circleville Pumpkin Show.
