Aliah Keller is a multi-media journalist for Spectrum News 1 in Ohio and is excited to be back in the Buckeye State.
As an Ohio native, Aliah grew up watching FOX 8 News in Cleveland with her parents and fell in love with television news and storytelling. She pursued her dreams at Kent State University and finished in three years with a Broadcast Journalism degree and minor in Psychology.
While at KSU, she was very involved in Kent State’s student media cable channel TV2 as a producer and reporter.
Aliah then packed her bags and moved 10 hours away from home and got her start as a TV news producer in Charleston, South Carolina. But as someone who’s always been curious about diving deeper with her stories, she left producing to be a reporter in Wheeling, West Virginia.
During her time in Wheeling, she’s covered everything from live protests and Ukraine rallies to tornado damage and live breaking news.
Now she’s so excited to continue to tell stories with the Spectrum News team.
While she isn’t in the newsroom, she enjoys painting, running, listening to classics like Frank Sinatra and Aretha Franklin and loves finding new recipes to cook.
