Tino Bovenzi is a multimedia journalist for Spectrum News 1 in Ohio and a lifelong resident of the Buckeye state. He serves as one of the Ohio State football reporters for Spectrum News, covering the Buckeyes for every game in 2019.
He began his career in Columbus as a photographer, editor, and sports producer in Columbus at WSYX/WTTE. In that role working on Good Day Columbus, he covered breaking news, severe weather, features, and news events in Central Ohio. Before that role, Tino spent two years as a correspondent with Sports Illustrated.
Tino earned his Bachelor’s in journalism from The Ohio State University in 2016 and also received an Associate in Journalism from Sinclair Community College in Dayton in 2013.
Born and raised in Dayton, Tino still has family in the area. When Tino is not at work, he enjoys playing basketball, golf, video games, and trying new beers at local breweries.
