Ashley Batey is a meteorologist for Spectrum News 1 in Ohio.
Ashley was born in Cincinnati and is happy to be back in Ohio!
She's used to all kinds of weather and has covered everything from snowstorms to hurricanes during her career as a meteorologist in Tampa, Charlotte, and Southeast Texas.
She has a degree in Meteorology from Texas A&M University and holds the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) seal from the American Meteorological Society.
When she's not forecasting the weather, Ashley loves being outdoors. She's an avid runner, hiker, and yogi and loves to travel. She also enjoys cooking and creating new dishes.
