Investigators with the NTSB have released their preliminary report on last month's plane crash that killed pilot Natalie Gillis.

The report said the plane was fully fueled when it took off from Albany International Airport on its way to Canada. It pitched up multiple times after leaving the runway, climbing to 800 feet, and rolling multiple times prior to the crash.

While the report did not have an exact cause for the crash, it says there was no evidence of an in-flight fire, nor pre-impact mechanical malfunctions in the engines. A fire after impact burned a large part of the plane, and none of its cockpit instruments were intact.

The agency again notes this is a preliminary report and information may change.
