PAXTON, Mass. - Anna Maria baseball coach Dan Briand recently became the winningest coach in program history notching his 126th career win, in his 8th season as Head Coach of the AmCats.  His players love playing for him and applaud all his hard work for the program to make it so successful.  "Coach Briand became teh winningest coach in program history and I think that's from all the hours he's put in,"  said Pitcher Nick Choate, "not just on the field but off the field looking for guys that fit his play style, looking for guys that want to compete, not just guys who are good athletes.  I feel like he's been able to bring in a great group of guys and put us on the right path to have the most success we can possibly have."

"Playing for Coach Briand, the best way to describe it is I love it,"  said Captain Tommy Sasso, "I love this coaching staff, I love these coaches, they've made me a better player and person on and off the field.  This has been the best three years of my life."
