NEW YORK — The Cardinals are headed back to the Big Apple. Louisville Women's Basketball will face Tennessee in the 2025 Shark Beauty Women's Champions Classic on Dec. 20 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The doubleheader will also see UConn face Iowa in a 2024 Final Four rematch. Game times will be announced at a later date.

This will be Louisville's sixth time facing Tennessee in program history. The Cardinals hold the all-time advantage 3-2 and have won their last three contests against the Volunteers, two of which came in the NCAA Tournament. Louisville defeated Tennessee in the 2022 tournament en route to the fourth Final Four in program history. The Cardinals also beat the Volunteers in the 2013 Elite Eight as the team advanced to its second Final Four. 

UofL Athletics said ticket information will be released in the coming weeks.
