CINCINNATI — PAM Health, a health care provider that offers post-acute care services, announced Monday plans to build a 42-bed physical medicine and rehabilitation hospital in Cincinnati.
PAM Health said the new hospital will create 80 new jobs, including medical professional and staff positions.
"We are proud to expand our presence in Ohio with this new hospital," said Anthony Misitano, founder, chairman and CEO of PAM Health. "Once completed, the Cincinnati location will offer world-class rehabilitation services to the community."
The new hospital is expected to provide inpatient rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy. PAM Health said the hospital will help serve patients recovering from illnesses and injuries, such as traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, strokes, amputations, neurological and cardiac conditions, and more.
PAM Health operates two other facilities in Ohio — PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Miamisburg and PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Miamisburg.
The exact location or date or construction and completion haven't been announced.
PAM Health is based in Pennsylvania and operates wound cares clinics and outpatient physical therapy locations in 23 states, according to its website. More information can be found here.
