COLUMBUS, Ohio — If you’re looking to get a jump on the weekend, an event in central Ohio is sure to put some spring in your step.

What You Need To Know

  • The Big Bounce America tour is bringing its traveling inflatable theme park to Eldorado Scioto Downs

  • Sessions are scheduled Friday through Sunday for age groups ranging from toddler to adult

The Big Bounce America tour is scheduled to bring out the kid in everyone Friday through Sunday at Eldorado Scioto Downs, with every age group from toddlers to adults able to enjoy the air-filled action during specific time sessions.

The showstopper at the inflatable theme park is a 24,000-square-foot castle.

“Largest bouncy castle in the world,” said Conner Market, tour manager. “It’s actually a Guinness Book of World Records holder.”

Other attractions include ball pits, springy sports games and other oversized outdoor activities.

No shoes are allowed on the inflatables, and socks are required. If you forget to wear a pair, Market said socks will be for sale on-site.

But our windy and wet weather forecasted this weekend may put a damper on some of the action.

“Safety is a big priority for us,” he said. “We're always not only watching rain and stuff and standard weather, but wind is a big thing for us. We're always monitoring that here on site, and remotely as well.”

Tickets and any weather-related closure information can be found on the event’s website, thebigbounceamerica.com.
