OHIO — Avon, the second ranked team in the Ohio Associated Press Division II high school football poll, was a 38-7 winner over North Ridgeville, the 15th straight win in the series. 

The Eagles (5-0) also won their 24th consecutive game against a Southwestern Conference opponent, including playoff games. Avon has another big meeting next week, traveling to Olmsted Falls.

The Rangers (4-1) host Elyria on Sept. 27.
