CLEVELAND — Cleveland Clinic Children's opened its first pediatric primary care and specialty services hub in Akron on Thursday. 

The facility at 676 South Broadway St. has 18 exam rooms and a range of pediatric care services, including: 

  • Allergy
  • Cardiology
  • Endocrinology
  • Gastroenterology
  • Hematology/Oncology
  • Nephrology
  • Nutrition
  • Primary Care
  • Psychiatry
  • Psychology
  • Pulmonology
  • Rheumatology

The facility will begin offering the services on Monday 

“This expansion in downtown Akron reflects our commitment to improving access to high-quality specialized pediatric care in the region,” said Dr. Rita Pappas, interim chief of Cleveland Clinic Children’s in a release. “Families can now receive specialized services closer to home and for more residents of Summit County.”

Additional services are also still available in the Cleveland Clinic Akron General's Broadway medical office building.
