This weekend is the start of an event that kids can only dream about. Lego DreamZzz is coming to Columbus.

The limited time special event will be at the LEGOLAND Discovery Center at Easton Town Center, starting this weekend and lasting until the first weekend in August, all to promote the new Lego DreamZzz collection.

“We’ll have our DreamZzz movie in the 4D Theater. We’ll have a bunch of DreamZzz themed games and activities for the kids to play. We’ll also be having an appearance from Matteo from the TV show Lego DreamZzz,” said LEGOLAND Discovery Center Columbus Master Model Builder, Sebastian Noggle.

Master model builder Sebastian Noggle has a passion for Lego. He said the goal of the event is to immerse kids in the story of two Lego characters Mateo and Izzy.

“The story is about a boy, Mateo and his sister Izzy. They go in when they’re dreaming at night, they go into the dream world and where their imaginations are their superpower,” said Noggle.

According to master model builder Meghan Burns, the Lego DreamZzz event is about bringing kids’ dreams to life and letting their imaginations flourish.

“The best thing for kids to enjoy is just that freedom to really explore and combine themes and just build anything that’s our imagination desires,” said LEGOLAND Discovery Center Columbus Master Model Builder, Meghan Burns.

Burns is one of only four female master model builders that LEGOLAND has nationwide. She said it’s events like these where she can make her mark on the next generation of Lego lovers.

“I get to inspire the next generation of young Lego builders, especially young girls who want to pursue a male-dominated field like Lego. It’s incredible. I love it,” said Burns.
