  • Eight adults and two teens were injured, police said all are expected to make a full recovery

  • DeAngelo Fuller, 19, is being held on $100,000 bond, charged with obstructing official business

According to police, the ATF is now offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest of a suspect involved in shooting of eight adults and two teens around 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning near the 1100 block of N. High St. Police said all victims are expected to make a full recovery.

Chenelle Jones, chair of public safety programs at Franklin University, said cities that cultivate a culture of safety and have strong partnerships between law enforcement, kids, parents and community organizations have less gun violence than cities that don’t.

“The collaboration is definitely a missing link in the city of Columbus,” she said. “This is something that we need. We need to bring all these parties here. Police officers, they can’t do it on their own, concerned citizens like myself. I can’t do it on my own.”

Monday morning, DeAngelo Fuller, 19, appeared in court for an arraignment hearing after police said he turned himself in Sunday night as the driver of a white Honda Civic that allegedly led officers on a high-speed chase from the shooting scene.

Fuller was charged with obstructing official business and held on a $100,000 bond. He is next scheduled to appear in court on July 2 for a preliminary hearing.

If you have any information about the shooting, call Columbus detectives at 614-645-4373 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-4610-TIPS.
