Jim Dale, the captain of the Lady Caroline, guides the voyage through downtown Cleveland from a vantage point many have yet to experience.

“I would rather be on the water than on land,” Dale said. “You just get in your comfort zone.”

The 120-foot long ship features four decks that passengers can explore.

“You can go outside if you would like. You can stay inside,” Dale said. “We have a DJ over here and a dance floor.”

The Lady Caroline cruises through downtown Cleveland via the Cuyahoga River and Lake Erie, offering panoramic views of the city from almost anywhere on the boat.

Dale said this is the Lady Caroline’s first full summer sailing in Cleveland.

“The fun part of it is the uniqueness of it all,” he said. “The interesting way of coming to see the city, of coming to have dinner, coming to celebrate something, it makes it absolutely unique.”

Aside from brunch lunch and dinner cruises, the Lady Caroline is available for private parties and events.
