CINCINNATI, Ohio — A newborn is getting national attention, going viral after showing off his "angry" face during his newborn photo shoot.

What You Need To Know

  • Baby Trent went viral after a Cincinnati photographer posted his newborn pictures making "angry" faces

  • The baby's mom says he's a good baby, but he may have made the faces because he didn't want to come out and they had to do an emergency c-section

  • The photographer who took the pictures says he's the most expressive baby she's ever taken pictures of.

It takes a lot of patience to do what Lauren Carson does. She’s a newborn photographer in Cincinnati. She's been capturing babies' first moments for the last decade.

“I love capturing the little nuances of kids, whether it's funny faces or whether it's, you know, a toddler acting like a toddler,“ Carson said.

She said in all her years, nothing prepared her for what was about to happen with one baby boy.

“He is by far the most expressive I've ever had," she said.

Two-week-old baby Trent went viral for his now internet-famous faces.

“He cracked me up. His mom and I were laughing so hard at his session,” Carson said.

Baby Trent is the youngest of four kids and the only one who his mom, Jessica Mundy, said didn’t want to come out, and it showed.

“My other three were all natural and pretty fast births, but this one was not, and he was stuck, so we had to do an emergency C-section," Mundy said.

His mom said she’s glad his face makes everyone else’s smile.

"I also was really happy that he was bringing so much joy to people, and they were, you know, sharing it," Mundy said.

That's even though he might not always like getting his picture taken.

“I kept trying to tell people he really wasn't grumpy, he wasn't uncomfortable, he was nice and swaddled up, but not too tight," Carson said. "He could have got out if he really wanted to. That's just his expression. That's just who he is."

Since baby Trent’s newborn pictures, Carson said she’s been getting a lot more parents wanting pictures. For more information about her studio, click here.
