CLEVELAND — A protest caravan is causing traffic congestion on I-480 near the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, and the Cleveland Division of Police confirmed they are working to resolve the situation "in coordination with law enforcement partners to ensure the safety of all involved" in a post on X.
The department is encouraging drivers to seek alternate routes at this time "to ease traffic congestion."
In a social media post, the Cleveland airport also called attention to the protest, informing customers that they should expect delays in getting into the airport. At 3:53 p.m., the airport posted an update that noted normal traffic was resuming and that flights were not impacted.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
