OHIO — It’s that time of the year again to tackle those New Year's resolutions. Experts said there are a few simple things people can do to make sure they accomplish those goals.

What You Need To Know

  • One way to stick to a New Year's Resolution is by making a list of goals

  • Another tip is to write out a plan to accomplish each goal

  • Experts also suggest working on goals gradually to avoid burnout

One of the first things they suggest is to write them all down, along with steps on how to accomplish them. And when it comes to achieving goals, it is important to start off gradually. This can prevent burnout.

“When you're doing those small little increments, then all of a sudden, you have accomplished a good chunk of your goal or you've accomplished the goal,” said Rachel Best, Empowering Mindset coach.

And experts said it's OK to make mistakes. The important part is to not give up and keep working hard toward accomplishing goals.
