BERLIN HEIGHTS, Ohio — It finally feels like fall and for so many in our state, that means an annual trip to the local apple orchard.

At Quarry Hill Orchards in Berlin Heights, generations of the Gammie family have welcomed other families year after year, "we take our time to just give you a slice of real authentic farm life and I think people are drawn to that," said Brooke Gammie, a 3rd generation farmer who married into the family.

"The harvest is coming, the fresh cider is coming out of the presses, the apples are getting picked off the trees you know the the crunch of the fall leaves under your feet. All the colors are changing," she said.

Quarry Hill hosts two fall festivals. The first is the antique tractor show on Oct. 14-15 and Apple Peak on Oct. 21, "Have food trucks and vendors the winery will be offering down at the orchard serving wine. We'll have lots of food and fun for the kids"
