TEXAS — June 21 is International Yoga Day and Texas is filled with events to help you stretch out the stress from the overwhelming heat we’re getting. Get zen with these businesses Wednesday evening or all throughout the week.
AUSTIN:
In the Buda area, wind down and relax with Vinyasa Flow, a series of gentle standing and seated poses. All fitness levels are welcome. The class is discounted at a special rate of only $5. Class begins at 7 p.m.
Join the Austin community and SEWA Austin at the Capitol on June 24 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and get centered. The event is free, but donations are welcome.
DALLAS:
Happening Wednesday night at 7 p.m. is free yoga at The Hill! Bring your own mat and water to the Movement in The Hill Shopping Center courtyard.
Yoga Bharati-Vyasa Dallas and Greenvest Capital invited all the stars out on Saturday, June 21 for a free yoga session called A Festival of Unity. Class kicks off at 10 a.m. at the Collin College Frisco Campus. Those interested can register here.
SAN ANTONIO:
All ages are welcome to San Antonio’s International Day of Yoga session Wednesday night at Levi Strauss Park at 6 p.m. Yogis are encouraged to register between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. here. The class is circuit training style and mats will be provided. Be sure to bring water for the high temperatures we’re experiencing.
