The holidays offer a lot to look forward to, but they also stir up stress for many people this time of year.
There are the usual stressors — getting that fancy holiday dinner on the table on time, or scoring that coveted gift for the kids — but there are added concerns for many families, including fears over COVID, delicate political conversations with relatives and how to cover rising food costs.
Kelley Breidigan, senior lecturer at The Ohio State University College of Social Work, offered some advice on how to handle some of the common and not-so common stressors that arise during the holidays.
