Hawaii reports 1,049 cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 365,171.

Six new deaths were reported, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,722.

The bulk of the cases were reported on Oahu, with 749. Hawaii Island is next with 136, followed by Maui with 79, Kauai with 54 and Molokai with one. There were none on Lanai.

There were 30 cases from out-of-state visitors.

The statewide vaccination rate stands at 78.1%, with 1,111,053 residents having completed the "primary series," 596,698 residents have received a booster within the last 12 months, and 197,118 residents have received the bivalent booster.

Honolulu County reported the highest vaccination rate among its residents at 81%. Kauai County follows with 73%, Maui County is at 72% fully vaccinated, and Hawaii County is at 70%.
