CLEVELAND — Cleveland Beer week runs from Oct. 14 through the 23 with a full week of celebrating craft beer.
With more than 40 different breweries throughout the Cleveland area, CLE Beer Week is a way to celebrate the variety of beer brewed in northeast Ohio.
Great Lakes Brewing Company is one of Cleveland's original craft brewers and is celebrating 34 years of brewing. Adam Ritterspach with Great Lakes said they are very excited to be a part of CLE Beer Week.
“Cleveland has one of the best craft beer industries and scenes in the country," said Ritterspach. “We love the variety of styles that people are brewing. Quality is top-notch, so it's really exciting to be a part of that.”
Great Lakes will take over Winking Lizard in Lakewood on Oct. 22. All taps handles will feature Great Lakes beers. Here you will find not only the seasonal beers, but a few new brews you might find on shelves.
Great Lakes is also prepping for the release of their seasonal Christmas Ale. They will hold their traditional first pour on Oct. 20. You can find bottles and for the first time cans in stores on Oct. 24.
