OREGON, Ohio — The identities of the two workers killed in a fire at the BP Husky Refinery on Tuesday night have been released.
Brothers Ben and Max Morrissey were part of the United Steelworkers Local 1-346. The Union reported that the brothers leave behind families, including young children.

Marcy Kaptur, a Congresswoman who represents the Oregon area, paid tribute to the brothers on the House floor Wednesday night.
“Responsible citizens, husbands and fathers who performed America’s essential work that drives progress and our American way of life forward. These brave men will never again return home to their dear families,” she said.
Eric Sweeney, the Union Staff Representative for United Steelworkers Local 1-346, spoke about the tragedy.
“There’s an investigation to get the root cause of what really happened,” he said.
The Union plans to share what it learns with other facilities so that tragedies like this can be prevented in the future.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is at the site of the fire to investigate how it started.
